This unique combination of regional data draws from government sources and from complementary surveys showing public opinion in the regions. It is a joint project of the European Policies Research Centre, University of Strathclyde, and the Centre for the Study of Public Policy, in collaboration with VCIOM (the Russian Centre for Public Opinion and Market Research) and the Department of Economic Geography, Russian Academy of Sciences, funded by the INCO-Copernicus programme of DG XII of the European Commission.
