Author: Paul Lazarsfeld Society

Description: The South-East Barometer of the Paul Lazarsfeld Society conducted representative nationwide public opinion surveys in Bosnia-Hercegovina in April, 2004. The survey included questions covering political, social and economic topics, including attitudes toward present and current regimes, and national identity. The results are reported here separately for Serbs, Croats and Bosnians. Results of earlier surveys in Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia, where many of the same questions were also asked, make it possible to undertake some trend analyses too. Thus, the Paul Lazarsfeld Society can monitor opinion in a war torn part of Europe with base line figures over a decade.
