Moldova
The CSPP has been involved in the first social science survey in Moldova 12-19 February 2000, in collaboration with Professor Stephen White of Glasgow University as part of a four-country comparative project on Outsiders in the New Europe. The sample did not include the predominantly Russian-speaking region of Pridnestrovsky and the city of Bender in the self-styled Republic of Transdnistria. It did include Russian-speakers elsewhere in the country, and interviews were conducted in Russian or Moldovan, as appropriate to the respondent. See:
