This paper reports the results of a nationally representative survey of the adult population of the Russian Federation conducted by the R-Research Agency in January-February 2014. The questions covered a wide range of issues including evaluations of the current economic and political system, the performance of President Putin and government, trust in political and other institutions, corruption, assessments of the Soviet past and membership of civic institutions. Other questions concerned defence and foreign policy, media consumption, incomes, language use and religion. Responses are shown for different generational groups as well as for the sample as a whole.
